Lesson Information at LA Fitness

Indoor heated pool (82-84 degrees)
Enter through front of LA Fitness, walk through gym and locker room to arrive at pool deck.
Changing pods on deck
Viewing areas
Non-Members are welcome
7 or 8 or 10-week sessions meet once a week (session length depends on the season)
Swimmer should bring towel and goggles and bathing caps if the swimmer has long hair
Children under the age of 3 MUST wear 2 swim diapers. A disposable under and a reusable over. All children will be checked prior to entering the pool.

Make-up Policy

Makeups are based on availability.
There will be no refunds for missed classes.
Classes that we cancel will be rescheduled during makeup week (following the end of the session).

Bad Weather Procedure

In the case of bad weather, including thunderstorms, you should call our office at +1 (813) 923-1717. If we do cancel, we will send emails and texts to all accounts provided the account is configured to receive communications.

Will your child stay on the wall, steps, or platform without a parent holding them?

Can your child float, tread, face in water, and paddle for 5 yards?

Can your child swim freestyle 10-15 yards?

Can your child swim 1 lap of all 4 strokes?

Can your child float, tread for 30 seconds, face in water, and paddle half the pool length?

Can your child swim a full lap of freestyle and backstroke?

Can your child swim multiple laps and tread water for 60 seconds?

Can your teen float, tread, swim under, and paddle half the pool length?

Can your teen swim a full length of freestyle and backstroke?

Can your teen swim multiple laps of all 4 strokes and tread water for 60 seconds?

Can you float, tread for 5 seconds, swim under, and paddle half the pool length?

Can you swim a full length of freestyle and backstroke?

Can you swim multiple laps of all 4 strokes?
